Some of the benefits of using LED lights instead of incandescent bulbs are:

Cost Effective

Over 50,000 hours in a 25light bulb house LED light bulbs will save you up to $7000 compared to incandescent light bulbs. Although LEDs are initially more expensive they are more efficient with electricity and their long lifespan means you don’t need to buy as many bulbs, in fact one should last the entire 50,000 hours.

Cool

These bulbs don’t build up heat unlike incandescents. LEDs produce 3.4 btu’s/hour, compared to the 85 incandescent bulbs make. This heat is a waste of energy that could be converted into light. Cool bulbs also minimise fire risk.

Long Lasting LED

light bulbs can last up to 50,000 hours. It earns its salt in comparison to the 1,200 hours an incandescent bulb can last for. This means for every LED light bulb you buy, 41 incandescent bulbs are wasted. This is a terrible waste of resources and not ecofriendly at all.
